<div>David Blevins is the heart of our Longview Georgetown community. As our maintenance man, he’s always there with a smile, a friendly hello, and a helping hand. Whether he’s stopping to pet a neighbor’s dog, greeting children by name, or making sure repairs are handled right away, David goes above and beyond for everyone. He keeps an eye out for our elderly residents, helps carry furniture, and even takes out the trash for those who need a hand. David’s kindness and dedication have touched so many of us, making our community feel like home.

<div> Recently, David received devastating news: he has a rare small bowel cancer. He began treatment on June 18, 2025, and is now facing the toughest fight of his life. As the sole provider for his wife Lisa and their adult son Ryan, the sudden loss of income has hit them hard. Lisa stays home to care for Ryan, and with David unable to work, bills are already piling up. The family is struggling to cover medical expenses, daily living costs, rent, and even gas for David’s many appointments. The stress of not knowing how they’ll make ends meet is overwhelming, on top of everything else they’re facing.
