Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I'm reaching out to you on behalf of Darlene Purcell, a former Sparkian. As many of you know, Darlene was a dedicated and hardworking member of our team. She was always supportive in the kitchen, helping with her tireless dishwashing and food prep work. She was a hard worker behind the scenes, ensuring the kitchen was clean. Her dedication to the team never went unnoticed.

Recently, Darlene was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and sadly, her time left with us may be short. As she navigates these challenging days, we want to help make life easier for her. We aim to raise funds to support Darlene with the Meals on Wheels program, ensuring she can access comforting, nutritious meals without worry or added effort.

Any contribution, big or small, would be deeply appreciated and will go directly to easing Darlene's journey. We know not everyone may be in a position to contribute, and please know there is absolutely no obligation. But if you feel moved to support her, your donation will mean a great deal and bring a little more comfort to a woman who has given so much of herself over many years to Spark and the team.

For transparency, all funds will be deposited into my account, and I'll work directly with Darlene and Meals on Wheels to support her needs.
