<div>I'm Jeff Manteiga/Rolderathis from the Toilet ov Hell metal blog. One of our community members, Dan (or as you probably know him through Discord, Hazy/HazyHex) needs our help. 8 years ago, Dan was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma which was subsequently treated with first line chemotherapy; he successfully entered into remission.

<div>Enter 2025, and after a half year of dealing with vague health issues that progressively became more severe, he was yet again diagnosed with an extremely late relapse of his cancer, staged the same. He is currently in the midst of a short term salvage chemotherapy regimen designed to get his cancer regressed enough for the next step in the process, which is stem cell transplantion. He will be hospitalized for 3 weeks to a month for this procedure, and afterwards per discussions with the transplant specialists will be out of work for at least 3 months, but potentially up to a year. The process destroys your bone marrow with very high dose chemotherapy and then you are infused with stem cells to rebuild your body and immune system.

<div>Obviously, this diagnosis on top of our country's broken healthcare system will quickly become prohibitively expensive, and that's before the months/year of work Dan will miss. He is one of the kindest folks I could ever hope to call a friend, and I hope you'll join me in easing the financial burden he will face atop this unthinkable battle.
