It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the unexpected passing of my beloved Dad, Danny O'Brien, on Friday, May 2, 2025. At the age of 64, he left us after a long and strenuous battle with severe rheumatoid arthritis.

To know my Dad was to know a man who held onto hope and believed in a better tomorrow. Just the day before he left us, he was out working in his yard, setting up all his projects for the weekend - a testament to his unwavering spirit and belief in more time.

Ever fervent that "things would always work themselves out," and letting me know that he would "get to it soon," my Dad had yet to set up a will for himself or hold a life insurance policy. As his only child, the funds raised here will go directly towards giving him the farewell he deserves, helping to cover some of his cremation and memorial service fees.

Additionally, beyond these immediate needs, my Dad also leaves behind his loyal companion, Jake, who was a constant source of comfort and joy in his life. A portion of the funds raised will also be set aside to support his continued care.
