Support Danielle’s Spinal Recovery

Danielle has faced challenges since she was just 18 months old, when she was diagnosed with spinal problems. Her first major surgery was in 2021 to address issues in her lower spinal cord, and since then, she’s had to be extremely careful to avoid falls or injuries that could worsen her condition. Now at six years old, Danielle recently suffered a serious accident that damaged her spinal cord further. She is currently in the hospital, wearing an iron Halo and vest, and has already undergone two surgeries, with another scheduled soon. The doctors are hopeful that she will be able to walk again, but for now, Danielle is in pain and unable to move around as she would like. Despite everything, she remains emotionally strong, supported by her loving family and the prayers of her church community.

Danielle’s Medicaid renewal was denied, but she is eligible for cost sharing. Unfortunately, not all of her medical expenses will be covered, and the bills are quickly adding up. We are raising funds to help pay for the medical costs that insurance won’t cover, as well as for therapy and ongoing care. I have had to take time off work to be with Danielle during her recovery, which has made things even more difficult financially. Any support will make a real difference for Danielle’s recovery and for our family’s peace of mind as we navigate this challenging time.
