<div>Hello, I’m Dana Alashi from Gaza, a place that was filled with love and peace for years until October came and turned our lives upside down. Last year, as we rebuilt our home and life began looking up, disaster struck. The events of October 7th destroyed everything we had, forcing my family into displacement and uncertainty. We were forced to endure displacement eight times, living in tent. In the pictures, the difference between our living place before and after the war is clear.

Through this upheaval, I received a beacon of hope—an acceptance from university in Australia. It’s not just an opportunity for education but a lifeline to rebuild our lives.
