Family and Friends,

My name is Danae. In 2018, I was diagnosed with Lupus that affects my kidneys. In 2020, my kidneys collapsed due to COVID. When my kidneys collapsed, I started dialysis to improve the function of my kidneys. After a short 3 months, I was able to be taken off. Fast forward to 2023, my kidneys stopped functioning properly and I started dialysis again. As of October 2024, I am officially on the kidney transplant list to receive a kidney.

I am raising funds with the hopes to:

1. Cover medical expenses related to the kidney transplant.

2. Help with immediate needs while I am out of work for a couple of months while I recover and attend needed appointments.

3. Get my time back that was spent attending dialysis.
