Damon is the heart and soul behind the bar on Dolores, a true gathering spot for locals in San Francisco. As the driving force behind the bar, he’s quick to befriend any and all patrons who pass through its doors, making everyone feel welcome and at home. Damon’s generosity and kindness have touched countless lives—he’s always the first to offer a helping hand, never expecting anything in return.

Right before Thanksgiving, Damon suffered a serious injury, shattering his tibia. This accident will keep him out of work well into 2026, and anyone who knows Damon knows how hard it is for him to be on the receiving end of help. He has no idea this GoFundMe is being organized, but I know his community would love to rally around him in his time of need. Damon has always been all give and no take, and now it’s our turn to support him.

The funds raised from this GoFundMe will go directly toward Damon’s medical bills, giving him the time and space he needs to heal without feeling pressured to return to work before he’s ready. Damon is the type of human who goes out of his way to be a friend to all, uplifting those around him effortlessly. Let’s return that energy to him in this chaotic time and show him just how much he means to all of us.
