As a pioneer in reviving and elevating Bharatanatyam, Rukmini Devi's legacy continues to inspire artists and audiences worldwide.

<div>This festival marks the first-ever NYC Festival of Indian Classical Dance dedicated to Smt. Rukmini Devi, her beloved Kalakshetra Foundation, and her enduring vision for the arts. Showcasing the exquisite artistry of acclaimed Indian classical dancers, this prestigious event aims to foster cultural unity, deepen appreciation for the universal language of dance, and share the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—"The world is one family."

<div>Organized and presented by Kalakshetra alumni Damir Tasmagambetov and Tatyana Popova, the festival is a heartfelt homage to Rukmini Devi, featuring the duo's acclaimed Bharatanatyam performance, The Fragrance of a Legend. This year festival will welcome guests artist of following indian classical styles : Kathak , Bharatnatyam and Manipuri.
