<div>Disability Advocates of Legal Aid (DALA) is a cross-union caucus for attorneys, social workers, paralegals, and other support staff of the Legal Aid Society--the largest and oldest public defender organization in NYC. We zealously advocate not only for our indigent clients but for ADA accommodations, accessibility, and disability education/awareness within our office and community.

<div><strong>Our disabled members are in desperate need of legal advice and representation to protect them from management's egregious ongoing discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. </strong> For many of us, this is a matter of life or death. But attorneys cost money, and we are entirely volunteer-led with no external funding sources.
