Daisy is a 3 year old Maltese mix pup and her family were in a horrible car accident on the 405 Friday night. Unfortunately, there were two fatalities, Daisy's housemate and the driver of the other car. Her parents are both in the hospital and endured severe injuries. Daisy had two housemates who were also in the car; unfortunately, one passed away and the other pup endured a fractured leg. Daisy was brought into the vet hospital by a Good Samaritan.

Daisy unfortunately had a traumatic brain injury and fractured her spine. Daisy is paralyzed, but her brain injury improved with treatment. Daisy will need surgery to help stabilize her spine so that her family can continue her care and will then need a wheelchair. Her family would like to pursue surgery, but they are struggling with the cost for her surgery.
