Hello, I'm raising money for my dad. He is on constant oxygen and is having trouble getting a portable oxygen concentrator so he can do normal things like go to the store, doctor's offices, and other tasks. He would also like to be able to come visit family once in a while. Currently, he cannot go on overnight trips due to not having a portable concentrator. My dad has tried to get his Medicare to cover a portable one, but all they offer are big tanks that he physically cannot carry or push due to him having a walker as well. We recently went on a trip, and his oxygen company offered him a portable concentrator, so we picked it up, and it was so heavy I had to carry it for him the whole trip, and it was heavy for me! It made things so difficult for him that he did not enjoy himself like he should have. These portable oxygen concentrators are so expensive he would never have hopes of getting one without help. Any help towards a new portable concentrator would just be an absolute blessing for him and our family. Four years ago we lost my beautiful mother and nine months after that, we lost my sister. It really took a toll out on my dad and he could really use this to boost his well being. Thank you and God bless.
