<div>While staying at the Potawatomi Hotel, our car was parked in the underground parking. I had put most of our clothes, shoes, and other belongings inside to keep our things safe. But that night, severe flooding hit the area. Our car was completely flooded, and with it, we lost almost everything we owned.

<div>Our car wasn’t just transportation — it was how I got to work, took my baby to appointments, and kept us moving toward stability. Now, we are without a car and without a home, starting from scratch with very little.

<div>I’ve been doing my best to stay strong for my child, but this is a hard season for us. <strong>I’m asking for help to get a reliable car, replace some essentials we lost.</strong>
