<div>Hello! Although my dad, Troy Boyer aka The Cuse Candyman, might give me some flack for making this account, I feel a little help may alleviate a lot of stress that comes with the very scary diagnosis he received.

<div>My dad is a hard worker and has always put everyone else above himself, from his immediate family to his extended Cuse family to his OCWA family. My dad suffered from a heart attack which caused irreversible damage. The doctors aren't sure what led to what, but we do know he has CHF, also known as chronic heart failure. The scarier diagnosis, though, is kidney failure. He originally was told he would have to start dialysis within the year, but after his last appointment, they informed him that he will need to start dialysis immediately. Today, 1/11/25 he had his two dialysis catheters put in! He is home currently and recovering. He is a candidate for a kidney transplant, but we know he could be on the list for a while. The goal is for him to get a new kidney, whether that be from family or another donor. However, his recovery is going to be a LONG recovery. It’s a possibility he will have to medically retire. He is currently as I type this getting two separate ports put in for dialysis. He is very worried and I certainly appreciate all the support he has received!
