As you all know, Curate Oromia is an independent publication run by a small team dedicated to telling Oromia’s story from its own perspective.

Since our launch, we have been publishing opinions, analysis and commentaries from journalists, activists, academics, and students—both within Oromia and throughout the diaspora.

In doing so, we have come to realize that so much can be done with so little! Now we’re onto to something bigger: hiring full-time reporters on the ground in Ethiopia.

Your contribution enables us to pay monthly wages to our reporters, publish consistently and bring you the stories that matter. For far too long, outsiders have shaped the narrative about Oromia and that needs to change.
