For those of you that have no clue why we're doing this [the garage sale], here's the run down. A little over a year ago I started getting sores everywhere and no one could figure out why, after several different appointments, lots of blood work and a biopsy, they found out I had somehow triggered a rare gene that is tied to multiple autoimmune diseases.

After that they discovered more autoimmune diseases and my entire body chemistry started changing. I have since developed multiple neuropathies, and have intense pain or complete numbness in my hands that has progressed up my arms. We're still trying to find the cause. Then in June I suffered a severe traumatic brain injury which has caused anxiety, anger issues, and lost time.

I'm no longer able to work and I'm waiting on disability so things are tough. I also will have to go to a pain and diagnostic program soon so this has to get done soon. We're doing a huge fundraiser next weekend with a sale with our own stuff and donations from some amazing people, but it's too much and we really need help.
