<div>Hi everyone - I’m starting this GoFundMe account for a very sweet soul, Crista Walker Cole. Many of you have been touched by Crista’s kindness and right now she needs our help. At some point on the night of her birthday, August 7th, Crista had a brain aneurysm. She was found at home the next morning by her son, Walker. Crista has undergone brain surgery and is currently in the neuro ICU.

<div>Crista’s job for years has been to help and take care of others, cleaning homes. She loves her job and loves helping people. And now she needs our help. Her self-employed job does not include paid time off or benefits. While she is in ICU, her personal and medical expenses are accumulating. Anything you are able to provide would be a blessing. <div>update 8/26/24 - Crista has had multiple surgeries over the past two weeks, including a craniotomy. She is doing great with progress. She is still in the ICU. She is starting to wake up, she is able to make eye contact. She does still have a ventilator and is recovering from pneumonia.

<div>Her recovery will be several months. She has a long journey ahead of her. Her personal expenses at home continue to accumulate, and they will for the next few months.
