<div>Our brother Cris, one of The Herd’s leaders and day ones, recently went through something incredibly scary and unexpected. On Sunday morning, Cris had a sudden seizure episode that sent him to the hospital. After doctors ran MRIs, they found a tumor in his head. Cris has just now completed surgery to have it removed.

<div>For those who know Cris, you know how much he means to our community. He has been a brother and friend long before The Herd even existed. He is one of our anchors. Someone you can always count on. Someone who shows up when people need him. Someone who brings a smile to your face whenever you’re around him. You may usually find Cris pacing you on Thursdays, making sure every last runner made it back safely. Or at the afters, enjoying a cold one, laughing with the crew, and spreading his infectious positive energy that makes everyone around him feel welcomed, comfortable, seen, and loved.

<div>Now it is our turn to show up for him. Cris is beginning a difficult road to surgery, recovery, and healing, and he needs financial support to help cover unexpected medical bills and the many costs that come with this kind of emergency.
