Support CQ Rescue for helping our mate Pete

On the 27th of April 2021, our mate Pete Stowers was seriously injured in a traffic accident. Thankfully he was able to receive aid at the crash site and was transported to hospital via the CQ Rescue helicopter service. He is now receiving treatment for his injuries.

Over the course of our 21-year history, RACQ CQ Rescue has rescued, transferred, retrieved and winched thousands of people, our professional and dedicated crew are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide rapid response critical care. Increasing mission statistics and escalating costs serve to highlight the importance of this lifesaving service and the absolutely vital need for community support to keep the helicopter and crew in the air and saving lives. https://cqrescue.org.au
The cost to operate and maintain this service is very expensive and without funding CQ Rescue could not provide their services to people in need. On average the running costs to operate the service are $10,500 per hour.
We would like to raise at least $10,500 to cover an hour of their time that was vital in getting Pete to the care he needed after his accident. Please help this important service by making a donation, every dollar makes a difference.
