Hi my name is Amy and I am doing this for my husband and myself. My husband Coty has been fighting a condition called chronic wounds for 7 years + now. He has 2 very large wounds on his legs and he fights infections in them alot. He is in constant pain, and doesnt get much sleep because of them. He has just been told he is permanently disabled. The dr also told him that if the wound care doesnt work he will lose at least his right leg. Coty said there not taking his legs so he is gonna fight this with everything he has. He is filing for disability but that is a long road. We were driving a semi truck hauling frac sand and he has had to leave that job because of his legs. I also have major back issue but i am currently looking for work. Coty has to go to wound care which is an hour away and we have no vehicle or any income to help with gas for anyone who takes him. We have applied for an apartment as we are currently living in a motel ( we were living in the big truck) and trying to sell what we can to pay for it. We have family here but they all have leases and cant have people staying with them. This isn't what I wanted to do but i have ran out of options. I want coty to be healthy and to not lose his legs. That would devastate him. He has worked all of his life and to have his legs take him out. You can imagine what he is feeling. If you would like to help please do.
