<div>My dear friend Collin Smith, father of three girls, had his life upturned with a recent diagnosis of brain cancer.

<div>Last Tuesday he had a headache, and 4 days later, surgeons removed a massive tumor from his frontal lobe. We’ve been like brothers for over 20 years, and everyone around him is devastated. The suddenness of this diagnosis has left all of us—friends, family, and colleagues—reeling and searching for ways to support him.

<div>You probably have worked with Collin at one point or another, whether on set or in the production office. If you have, you know how special he is. Collin’s clever humor, deadpan wit, and strategic “chess not checkers” approach leave a lasting impression on everyone he crosses paths with.

<div>Like many of us, he’s been heavily impacted by last year’s strikes. Now, more than ever, he needs our support.

<div>We are raising funds to help pay for home care that insurance won’t cover, drug costs, and transportation to and from radiation therapy. Collin is facing a rigorous 7-week schedule of radiation and chemotherapy. The treatment will be very challenging, but we know a strong support network will give him the best possible outcome, and we hope you can help.
