<div>Earlier this week my best friend Colby Petrin a kind, compassionate, and hardworking 23 year old man was involved in a tragic and life altering accident. He suffered from a severe spinal cord injury leaving him partially paralyzed. A comminuted fracture of the T12 vertebrae and displacement of T11 vertebrae. After a 6 hour gruesome surgery, doctors have informed him he will not walk again. He is now facing a long road of rehabilitation and recovery.

<div>Colby is the proud father of a beautiful 8 month old baby girl, who is truly the light of his life. His dedication and tremendous love for her is evident to anyone who knows him. In addition to being an incredible dad, Colby is a loving son, caring friend, and devoted brother to four siblings. He is one who always steps up to help and support those he cares about.

<div>Before the accident, Colby worked full time to provide for his daughter and maintain his independence. For the unforeseen future Colby will be undergoing extensive medical treatment and is unable to work. Any donation, big or small, will help ease the burden on himself and his family, allowing Colby to focus on healing.
