Cody is currently facing one of the toughest challenges of his life. After undergoing a second foot surgery due to a severe infection, he’s now in the hospital, unable to work and deeply worried about how he’ll keep his family afloat. Cody has diabetes, which made his recovery and ability to even have the surgery much more complicated. He’s a devoted father to Lyric, his stepdaughter, and Lane, his seven-year-old son. Even though Lyric isn’t his biological child, Cody has always been there for her, providing love and support. Now, as he battles to heal, his biggest concern isn’t just his own health—it’s making sure his kids have a safe home and everything they need.

 The financial strain is overwhelming. Cody is facing urgent bills for his home, utilities, and medical care, all while being unable to work. The stress of possibly losing his house weighs heavily on him, but he’s determined to keep providing for Lyric and Lane. With diabetes complicating his recovery, Cody’s healing process could take months, and he’s at risk of losing his foot, his leg, or even his life if he pushes himself too soon. A few months of rest would give Cody the chance to heal without risking permanent damage or worse, and would help him focus on what matters most—his family.
