<div>We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share that Randy Barroso has recently been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)- a devastating neurodegenerative disease that currently has no known cure.
</div>

<div>ALS gradually destroys the nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscles, leading to increasing weakness, paralysis, and ultimately, loss of the ability to speak, eat, move, and breathe. The progression of this disease can vary, but in most cases, it moves relentlessly and rapidly, taking away basic abilities one by one.

<div>For Randy, the progression has already begun. He has lost most use of his right arm and hand leaving him unable to work or train. Every day brings new physical and emotional challenges, but Randy remains hopeful and is determined to fight back.

<div>While there is no cure for ALS, Randy has chosen to undergo holistic and integrative treatments in an effort to slow the progression of the disease and maintain his quality of life for as long as possible.
</div>
<div>These treatments are not covered by insurance and come at a significant cost. That's why we're turning to you-our community-for support.
