<div>Today, I’m reaching out to share a deeply personal story and ask for your help in supporting someone very dear to me, <strong>Clarissa Rivera</strong>, as she faces one of the most challenging battles of her life—Stage 3 colon cancer.

<div>Clarissa is more than just a friend and colleague to me; she’s a beacon of strength, love, and kindness. She’s a devoted mother to two amazing teenagers, one who just started college this fall, and a compassionate daughter and sister. At work, she’s the heart of our team, always ready to lend a hand and brighten someone’s day. Clarissa has a way of putting others first, whether through her actions or words of encouragement. It’s our turn to rally around her when she needs us most.

<div>In September 2024, Clarissa received the life-changing diagnosis of Stage 3 colon cancer. She’s begun the fight with courage and resilience, starting 12 rounds of chemotherapy over the next 24 weeks. Despite having insurance, the financial burden of treatment is overwhelming. Medical bills, travel expenses, and living costs like rent, food, and utilities are adding up quickly. <strong>The last thing Clarissa should worry about is how to make ends meet while focusing on her health.</strong>

<div>That’s why I’ve started this GoFundMe—to help alleviate some of the financial stress so Clarissa can concentrate on what matters most: healing and spending time with her loved ones. No matter the size, every donation will go directly toward her medical expenses, including chemotherapy, medications, surgeries, and other vital care. It will also help cover essential living costs during this challenging time.
