Cindy is a former oncology and hospice nurse who had to leave her career due to health problems.  She was diagnosed with <strong>Stage 3 Rectal Melanoma</strong> in June. This type of cancer is very rare &amp; our local hospitals are not able to treat her, so she is traveling back &amp; forth from Kalamazoo to Ann Arbor frequently for treatment at U of M.

Her treatment will involve surgery first this week. <strong>The rest of her treatment is to be determined but will most likely involve Radiation Therapy, Immunotherapy, or Chemotherapy &amp; more surgery.</strong> Please help this dear widowed friend &amp; her daughter as they go on this hard journey.
