My girlfriend Christina was diagnosed with heart failure just a week ago, and our lives have changed overnight. She’s been in the hospital since her diagnosis, and when she’s able to come home, she’ll need to be on several medications and wear a life vest to protect her heart. The suddenness of this diagnosis has been overwhelming for both of us, especially as we try to care for our three-month-old son.

 Christina won’t be able to return to work for some time, which means we’re facing not only mounting medical bills but also the challenge of covering our daily living expenses. With me working and Christina needing help at home, we’re relying on our families for support, but the financial strain is significant. The uncertainty of what comes next is difficult, but we’re doing everything we can to keep our family strong and together.
