Christie Hentz is the best mother I could ever ask for. She raised me with unwavering love, strength, and determination. I always tell people, the way she always pours life into me is the reason why I am still alive today. Everything I’ve accomplished and the way I live my life is rooted in the foundation she built for me. Christie is truly a light in this world. She brings laughter and warmth wherever she goes, always choosing to see the best in people and finding ways to make life brighter for others. Her resilience is undeniable! Just this past December, she graduated cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, which is a true reflection of her perseverance and drive.

 Two weeks ago, Christie’s life was suddenly disrupted by a car accident caused by another driver. She lost her fully paid-off vehicle and is now facing a difficult road to recovery. This accident has not only caused physical pain and limited her ability to complete daily tasks, but it has also forced her to pause her job search at a time when she was hoping to relocate closer to me. On top of that, the accident has triggered PTSD from a previous crash over a decade ago, adding emotional and mental strain to an already overwhelming situation. Right now, Christie is navigating physical recovery, emotional healing, and the complexities of medical care and legal processes—all at once. It’s a lot for anyone to carry, especially someone who is so used to being the one others rely on.

 I’m starting this fundraiser to support her during this time—to help cover essential expenses like bills, food, and basic needs, so she can focus on healing without added stress. My mom has always been the kind of person who gives endlessly and rarely asks for help. Now, I want to give back to her in the way she has always shown up for me. My mom, Christie, is my everything.
