Family & Friends, please help us support Chris & his family during this time of hardships and recovery they are now facing among Chris’s accident.
Sunday morning, while enjoying the outdoors and time with his Grandsons, Chris was involved in an ATV accident at their home, causing him to be ejected with great force and breaking his collarbone along other injuries. His wife rushed him to the ER where X-rays confirmed the break, and that it was also shattered. Chris will be out of work for 3 months, minimum, and is awaiting his appointment with the orthopedic to discuss surgery. As most of you know I’m sure, Chris drives 18 wheelers for a living, loading and unloading, with a company that he’s been with almost 6 years. This is devastating to Chris & his family, as he will likely not be able to return to this line of work for quite some time. The family is pulling together to cover Chris’s personal expenses along with family expenses, but given he is the main income source for their household, they are now also facing financial challenges along with his recovery. They are using all resources available to them, but it would be so helpful and appreciated if we can come together to help them along the way. Chris is the type of person who continuously works hard, to provide for his family, and better the lives of the ones he loves most every single day. He goes out of his way with no thought in mind to help anyone in need, and has worked extremely hard on himself to be the loving, humble, genuine man that he is today. We all know the uncertainty we feel when faced with life’s challenges of unexpectedly not being able to wake up in the morning and not be able to provide for your family. But this hits different, as he trained so hard and has worked even harder to become a “truck driver” (as his Grandsons call him) and it has likely all been taken away from him from one single accident!
We not only ask for your support, but for your prayers as well. We ask you to give prayers of comfort, strength, healing, security and peace of mind. We can do all things through Christ, and will hold on to our faith that God is in control and he will see them through this.
