<div>Back in January 2024, Chris received news that he has stage 3B lung cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes. In June, he underwent a lobectomy, where his lower right lobe was removed. Since then, Chris has gone through chemo, a second chemo, and 28 days straight of radiation at the same time, then more chemo and immunotherapy.

<div>Despite his fight and determination to return to a normal life, Chris continues to get infections in his lungs, which is making it harder for him to breathe. Chris has not been able to receive his immunotherapy for 3 months now because of the infections and what feels like endless doses of steroids and antibiotics. He had a bronchoscopy done on August 1st, and so far, it has come back showing some type of fungal infection. Because of what is going on in his lungs, Chris now needs a wheelchair when he is out of the apartment and has to walk a distance. He is no longer able to do the things he used to enjoy, like taking his boat out on the water, kayaking with friends, or just getting out of the apartment. We all know how much Chris loves being outdoors and around his friends.

<div>Chris and Jenn are currently living in Sabattus in a second-floor apartment. The stairs are now turning into a struggle for him. <strong>They are needing help with getting a first-floor apartment or one-level home, in order to help make his life more accessible and enjoyable.</strong> We would love to see him be able to walk outside without worrying he may fall down the stairs. He has cough syncope, which is a condition where someone faints from coughing, which looks like a seizure. He has fallen several times, hitting his head, even denting his head.

<div>Our goal is to help make his life more livable and lessen his stress. They have been living with limited income, and between traveling for doctor's appointments, medications, and continuous bills, they need help with moving into a first-floor place.
