<div>Chloe is our youngest of 4 and she is about to begin treatment, fighting (neuroblastoma) childhood cancer for the second time.

<div>Meet Chloe:
</div>
<div>Chloe is a 3 and a half year old who loves to play outside, dance, sing, watch her favorite cartoons, and do anything that her older sister is doing. She is super sassy and strong. She keeps us laughing and on our toes for sure.. That what we love about her.

<div>The Diagnosis:
</div>
<div>Neuroblastoma is a rare and aggressive pediatric cancer that affects the nervous system.
</div>
<div>Chloe was diagnosed for the first time in April 2023. Stage 4, MYNC amplified, High Risk.
</div>
<div>She’s went through multiple biopsy surgeries, central line placement surgery, several rounds of chemotherapy, tumor removal surgery, two stem cell/bone marrow transplants, targeted radiation therapy, and immunotherapy.
</div>
<div>She rang the bell in September 2024 and we lived in remission for 9 months…
</div>
<div>This past June (2025) at her routine scans her CT picked up a spot near her heart and she just completed a biopsy surgery that confirmed our worst nightmare… relapse.
</div>

</div>
<div>The Treatment Journey:
</div>
<div>Chloe’s tiny body is already facing a series of difficulties from the chemotherapy from before. She has severe hearing loss in her left ear and mild/moderate in her right. She has hearing aids that she uses through out the day. She attends speech therapy which goes hand in hand with the hearing loss.

<div>The doctors have said she will now have to go through 10 rounds of chemotherapy and then 2 rounds of immunotherapy and then we will go from there… so we have a year of treatment that we are currently looking at and then proceeding from there.
</div>

</div>
<div>While we focus on keeping Chloe’s spirits high.. the reality of our situation is medical bills, specialized therapies, lost work hours, having to drive to/from Panama City and Gainesville, trying to keep our other kids emotions at bay and show up for them as well, therapy for the other kids, etc.
</div>
<div>Last time, I tried my best to juggle everything and it was very difficult and heavy.
</div>

<div>That’s why we’ve created this page: to give Chloe the best possible chance at beating this disease without the added burden of financial stress. To help with travel costs and therapies so the other kids are able to visit with their sister and parents as well as help me be able to show up for them and help them navigate through this difficult time as well.

<div><strong>Update as of 12/15/25 </strong>
</div>
<div>In October we found out that the immunotherapy/chemo that we were doing wasn’t working. So we started a new chemo called ICE. After the first cycle we did scans to see if her tumor was responding and IT WAS. Then Chloe had to be admitted 11/5 to sacred heart for us to find out that her counts were extremely low and she had norovirus and rhinovirus. She stayed in patient for 3 weeks and fell behind her chemo schedule.

<div>On Monday 12/8 I noticed she wasn’t herself and showing signs of liver issues… I contacted her team and eventually took her to the ER. She was admitted on 12/10. 
</div>

<div>Chloe completed cycle 2 of chemo this weekend. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However we received some really difficult news and we were waiting until we got some more clarity from her team today to share.. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We went ahead and proceeded with chemo because oncology really belived that we needed to in order to try and shrink the tumor from growng further.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Chloe’s tumor is pressing on her liver, pancreas, and kidneys. She has pancreatitis and cholestasis. 
</div>
<div>Her bilirubin levels are high. 
</div>
<div>She is visibly very jaundice.. 
</div>
<div>We got a series of scans this visit.
</div>
<div>Her team thinks that it has spread to her pancreas and it is very important that she gets surgery to remove part of her pancreas and as much as the tumor itself as possible. 
</div>
<div>We have a small time window due to her organs being pushed on and stressed. 
</div>

<div>We are waiting on the surgeon to reach back out to us. We will have to travel to Nationwide children hospital in Columbus, Ohio if the surgeon agrees to do the surgery. 
</div>
<div>Without it, her body won’t be able to keep doing chemotherapy. 
</div>
<div>If youre wondering “WHY OHIO?” like we were.. its do to it being a major, specialized procedure because it involves her pancreas and it will involve it being a whipple surgery and the surgeon there is said to be the best for this particular case. 
</div>

<div>We aren’t giving up hope! 
</div>
<div>But my mama heart has been so broken the past couple days thinking of how low her prognosis is as of right now.. 
</div>

<div>Currently we are just getting maintenance care (fluids and meds) and will possibly be getting some stem cell transfusions later this week to help boost her bone marrow and counts. Thankfully she still has cells left over. 
</div>

</div>
<div>We don’t know when we will be home.. but hoping after stem cells we can transfer to Pensacola for the maintenance care to wait for the surgery so that her siblings will be able to stay with her and we will be closer to family. 
</div>

<div>Marlena visited today and Chloe was so happy to see her. They played some, laughed and were just happy to be together. It was wholesome and reminded me to slow down and breathe. 
</div>
