Hi my Name is Bryana and this is my girl Chi she’s a bearded dragon and a sweet and loving one too! She’s sadly going through a really bad patch right now in life that can be deadly. I’m thinking she has coccidia which is a parasitic protozoa that can infect the intestines. It causes Diarrhea, often bloody or mucousy pee, Weight loss, Lethargy, Reduced appetite, and Dehydration. Of course some people know that owns reptiles vet bills are not cheap. That’s why I’m on here asking for some help, she’s everything to me and I really need to get her looked at so I can get her the help and medication she needs. This money it’s for exam, her treatments, any testing that needs to be done I hope it’s not more than $500, but if it it is I’ll post the vet bill and maybe get some more help. I’m needing to get her in asap because she has already lost so much weight, not to mention not eating her bugs which that is where she gets her protein and she’s not drinking anymore so I have to syringe water feed her. I normally don’t do these, but I see a lot of people helping other people’s animals and the least I can do it try for her and her health. A lot of people say that if you have pets, it’s your responsibility to take care of them and pay for their needs, but everybody needs help here and there. I know vets cost extra when it’s a reptile since they use different stuff than what they use for dogs and cats. Many vets are wanting me to travel to PA or Ohio and luckily I was lucky enough to find her one close. Any donations will greatly be appreciated. :/
