Covid19 Children's Book supporting mental health

Thanks to all of you who supported this cause, it was a great success. Now, with the pandemic here for a while longer, we have decided to rejuvenate this campaign to help bring more books that help alleviate the stress of Covid19  to vulnerable children at this time. We will continue to support our three charitable partners by providing 'Covid Monster’s Visit' children's books to the World Literacy Foundation, 22 Stars Foundation , and Adiflor .

Every parent of young children knows how difficult it is to explain the Covid19 pandemic to their child. Children are not to visit their grandparents, go to the park, play with friends or have Birthday parties. This is all so difficult for the child to understand.

Covid Monster's Visit is a children's picture book that offers support to parents and children alike by helping young children (0 to 8 years old) to deal with the uncertainty the Covid 19 pandemic brings through Covid, a character that is tangible to the child. The children learn in a child-friendly way that they must wash their hands and social distance too. 


 
Covid Monster’s Visit is a European collaboration and has been translated from English to Irish, French, German, Spanish and Italian, so that it can reach as many children as possible during this difficult time.

We want to place this book into the hands of the most vulnerable and those most affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. Thus, we have collaborated with a number of literacy organisations who know into whose hands these books should be given. We will send the books to them and they will give them to the children most in need in their countries. 

We believe that Covid Monster's Visit will have a positive effect on children's mental health and by reaching our goal of €2000 we helped make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable.


Now, we want to reignite this campaign, because this pandemic is lasting longer than any of us first thought and children still need our support. Please continue to support this campaign and let's make a difference in the lives of children together. 

We are asking you to Please Donate to our cause to support childhood literacy and mental health. Money raised will be used to produce and post Covid Monster's Visit books to the World Literacy Foundation, 22 Stars Foundation, and Adiflor.

Chaque parent de jeunes enfants sait combien il est en ce moment difficile d'expliquer la pandémie de Covid19 aux plus jeunes. Il ne peuvent plus rendre visite à leurs grands-parents, aller au parc, jouer avec leurs amis ou même fêter leur anniversaire avec tous leurs copains ! Tout cela est vraiment difficile à comprendre pour un enfant.

"La Visite de Covid Monstre" est un album de jeunesse qui accompagne les parents et leurs enfants (de 0 à  8 ans) en les aidant à  faire face à la situation qu'ils rencontrent en ce moment grâce à Covid Monstre, un personnage tangible pour l'enfant. Ce dernier apprend d'une façon adaptée à  son âge pourquoi il doit laver ses mains et conserver une distanciation sociale. 

"La Visite de Covid Monstre" est le fruit d'une collaboration européenne et a été traduit de l'anglais en irlandais, français, allemand, espagnol et italien, afin de pouvoir être lu par le plus grand nombre d'enfants possible au cours de cette période difficile.

Nous voulons que ce livre soit placé entre les mains des enfants vulnérables et de ceux dont la vie a été la plus impactée par l'épidémie ce Covid19. Nous avons donc collaboré avec plusieurs associations caritatives qui savent exactement où trouver ces petites mains. Nous leur ferons parvenir notre album de jeunesse afin qu'elles les distribuent aux enfants dans le besoin. 

Nous avons la conviction que cette histoire aura un effet positif sur la santé mentale des enfants et en atteignant notre but de 2000€, nous serons en mesure, grâce à votre aide, de faire une différence dans la vie des enfants les plus vulnérables.

Nous appelons ainsi au don afin de soutenir notre cause et d'encourager l'alphabétisation des enfants ainsi que la santé mentale des plus jeunes. L'argent récolté sera utilisé pour produire et envoyer des copies de "La Visite de Covid Monstre" à  Wold Literacy Foundation, 22 Stars Foundation,  et Adiflor.
