My name is Chevon. I am a middle school teacher. I had a total knee replacement surgery in June 2025. I had complications and had to have a second procedure, a manipulation, done at the end of August. I have been out of work since June. My physical therapy appointments are 30 minutes from my home. I have PT every day. The expenses are adding up, going to PT, doctor visits, medications, and other expenses. I have no more paid leave and received notification that I will not get paid this month.
