<div>Our beloved Cheikh Abdou Faye has been detained by ICE and is currently being held in a prison in Iowa. He does not speak English, and has been struggling to survive in an environment that feels hostile and isolating. Recently, he was violently attacked by another inmate, who beat him and broke his nose, all because he tried to protect the little food he had. He received no medical attention and remains in a vulnerable, unsafe position. We are heartbroken and terrified for his well-being every single day.
