This is Cheeto. He has been with me since August of 2019.

Recently, I've noticed his eating habits have changed and his front canine tooth is hanging lower than the other. He's been drooling, in obvious pain, becoming skinnier, and not playing like he used to. I took him to the vet and got his teeth checked out.

The vet told me his canine tooth would have to be pulled out and would cost $400 up front.

They also told me he would have to come in another day for a grade 4+ dental cleaning. A grade 4 periodontal disease is the worst case there is. It consists of extensive tartar, inflammation, and bone loss around the teeth.

Cheeto's appointment for his cleaning was supposed to be in January, but due to him being so high on the cancellation list, his appointment was brought all the way to July 30th.

The estimate they have given me has said it's going to cost $1000-$1200. Unfortunately, this is not what me and my family can afford right now. Anything will help as Cheeto is only 6 and still has a long life left to live.

Donating will help pay for the surgery and the wet food change Cheeto will need.
