We are a couple newly moved in together, in Michigan. Our names are Charlotte and Felix, and we are both transgender individuals looking to better establish ourselves as financially independent, but it is a monumental task as mid twenty adults in the current political socioeconomic world we live in. In great measure, the last fundraiser helped me to escape a bad situation but living in Michigan comes with its own challenges, including a requirement for each of us to have our own vehicles to seek better income and employment, and a cushion to combat bills; especially rent and food, which continues to rise each year and our paychecks do not currently meet this demand on our combined income.
So, what will your donations help us to cover?
Primarily, we will:
- Save for a second vehicle to help push us both towards higher paying jobs, and the ability to commute to those jobs.
- Help cover costs such as rent and driver's training in pursuit of saving for this car.
