 Charlie Procella is 13 years old, stands about 6'0", and plays for the Arkansas Hawks Class of 2031. As a 7th grader he already earned junior-varsity minutes at England High School. He is an Honor Roll student who took first place in the Arkansas Stock Market Competition. This past Memorial Day weekend he posted a +42 plus/minus across four tournament games and had a six-steal defensive game against the Southwest Clippers.

 Charlie comes from a family that has carried real weight for three generations. Many of the people closest to him have struggled with addiction and incarceration, and for a long time the road out was not obvious to anyone in the family. Then his older sister became the first person in three generations to graduate high school. Charlie watched that door open, and he decided to walk through it too.

 His mother is a cancer survivor. She beat the disease and now raises her children on a fixed disability income. Charlie also has a younger sibling with special needs who requires extra care. The family works hard every day to cover the basics, and they do it without complaint.

 Competitive basketball sits outside the basics. Team dues, tournament entry fees, hotels, travel to events like the JR3SSB championship in Dallas, shoes, gear, and the exposure camps that get a young player seen all cost money this family does not have to spare. That is the only reason this page exists.

 Charlie did not choose the easy path. He chose grades, discipline, and the gym. He already has seven 2025 tournament championships and a stack of academic awards to show for it. This fund makes sure the cost of the game is never the reason a kid who is doing everything right has to stop.
