<div>Hello, and thank you for looking into our GoFundMe fundraiser for our dearest friend <strong>Chad MacManus</strong>, who is being treated for a rare form of cancer. The cancer is named Merkel, and he also had basal cancer surgically removed from his neck in early April of this year. This has all been performed at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

<div>The costs of travel for him and his wife from Michigan to Houston, accommodations, and food for him and his wife during his treatments are an additional cost to the expense of his cancer treatments. Unfortunately, none of these costs are covered by his insurance.

<div>The current and upcoming expenses are far more than Chad can pay, having exhausted most of his available finances battling his cancer. Not once has he shown a defeatist attitude about overcoming his cancer and has gotten the best care that he could so that he can enjoy his children and grandchildren for many years to come.

<div>Our goal is to provide as much financial coverage as there are bills so that the remainder of Chad's future is not indentured to a bank. <strong>That is a sad future having beaten something that was trying to kill you.</strong>
