<div>My name is Cerena, and my heart is heavy as I write this. <strong>My mother and most of my family live in Westmoreland and Hanover, Jamaica, two areas that were devastated by the recent hurricane.</strong>

<div>My mom’s roof was blown off her house, and I haven’t heard from her in four days. Power and communication are down across the area, and so many families, especially women and children, have lost everything. Homes are flooded, roads are destroyed, and people are struggling to find food, clean water, and shelter.

<div>This GoFundMe is the start of something bigger. Hope After the Storm, was created to provide emergency relief to women and children in Jamaica affected by natural disasters. But right now, I’m starting with my community, one family, one care package at a time.
