8/25/25:

Many may not know that my mother, Catherine Sisson, took a fall at work and fractured her hip and dislocated her knee. She is scheduled for hip surgery tomorrow at Lewis Gale Medical Center and will be out of work for an unknown time.

This situation, on top of my dad, Roger Sisson, battling cancer and dealing with mobility issues and other end-of-life circumstances, has created concerns for the Sisson family's financials.

I've created this GoFundMe to help the Sisson family with shared household expenses, food, etc. In the meantime, if you’re able to help relieve some of the financial pressure, it would be greatly appreciated. I will try to post updates here throughout everyone’s recovery.

8/29/25:

Great news! Catherine received confirmation that she will be moving to the 4th inpatient rehabilitation at Lewis Gale tomorrow!

Also, a kind soul has arranged for a meal to be delivered to my dad this Sunday, and we will make sure a portion is taken my mom at the hospital as well. <3
