As many of you know, one of my closest friends Cassidy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37. Cassidy has been openly sharing her journey with everyone in hopes that she can increase awareness and educate other women to start checking themselves monthly. While she has been very optimistic and positive during her battle, she was diagnosed with a type of breast cancer that has a high recurrence rate. So before even knowing what her chemo and radiation battle is, she already knows there is a series of at least 3 surgeries. This Includes a double mastectomy, a decision no woman should have to make to save their life. These surgeries, in addition to other unknown treatments will pull Cassidy out of work for extended lengths of time.

 

Cassidy is one of the most kindhearted individuals you will ever meet. She goes above and beyond to help those in need. In her professional life, Cassidy is a dedicated Registered Nurse who takes care of others everyday. She is often referred to as one of the strongest and most dependable individuals by those who know her. As she continues to brave this battle and push forward, I’m asking for help to alleviate some of the financial stress she will be taking on. No one should have to worry about bills while trying to beat cancer. If you know her, you know that she would do anything to help anyone and is not one to ask for help, ever.
