My niece Cassandra is currently in the ICU in Phoenix, Arizona, fighting a serious illness that has turned her family’s world upside down. Her parents have been by her side day and night, praying and hoping for her recovery.

Cassandra’s condition is critical, and her doctors have told us that her healing journey may take some time. Her parents Sergio and Rosa Amelia Vargas refuse to leave her side — as any loving parents would — but being far from home has created an unexpected financial burden.

They are facing mounting expenses for lodging, food, gas, and daily essentials, all while trying to stay focused on what matters most: Cassandra’s recovery. The hospital is hours away from their home, and the costs of hotels and meals are quickly adding up.
