Hurricane Beryl made landfall in Grenada on July 1st and severely impacted the small islands of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique. The destruction it has caused for its residents is unimaginable, particularly for the smaller islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique, which were hit by the eye of the storm. The islands of Petite Martinique and Carriacou hold a special place in my heart, as they are home to the majority of my family. The islands so many call paradise and the 'beautiful gems of the Caribbean' are now severely flattened, with residents shaken and in urgent need of help. Homes have been destroyed, infrastructure severely damaged, and livelihoods completely lost.

This GoFundMe campaign is to support those affected by this unimaginable disaster. Please help us raise funds to support the recovery efforts in Petite Martinique and Carriacou. My family, as well as many other families in both Carriacou and Petite Martinique, no longer have their homes, clothes, food, and so much more.

The funds raised from this campaign will go directly towards all relief efforts for the people of Carriacou and Petite Martinique, including rebuilding homes, repairing roads, schools, and healthcare facilities, and supporting local businesses and fishermen.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, is appreciated and will make a significant difference in the lives of my family and the people of Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

These islands have given so much to all those who have visited and call them home. Now, they need our help and support. Thank you for your support!
