Carolyn Mello, her boyfriend, and their beloved cat were among the victims of the recent fire on Hick Street in Fall River. In a matter of moments, their lives were turned upside down, losing not only their home but also the comfort and security of their personal belongings and cherished pet items. The devastation has left them displaced, facing the daunting task of rebuilding from scratch while navigating the uncertainty of temporary housing and the challenges of finding a new place to live.

 Greg and Dolly Mello are reaching out on behalf of Carolyn Mello’s family, hoping to rally support from friends, neighbors, and the community. The funds raised will go directly toward helping them secure essential household items, replace personal belongings, and provide for their cat’s needs. Immediate support is also needed for hotel stays and to help cover the first month’s rent and security deposit as they search for a new home.
