Russell Gmirkin was a respected biblical scholar, author, and researcher whose work left a lasting mark on the field. He published three influential books on the creation and dating of the Pentateuch, and contributed numerous articles on topics such as the War Scroll and the historical roots of biblical figures like King Solomon. Russell was a frequent guest on YouTube podcasts including MythVision Podcast, History Valley, Gnostic Informant, Mahdi Meridius, and Sign of the Times, where he shared his insights with a wide audience. His scholarship was recognized by leading figures such as Niels Peter Lemche and Robert Price, and he was known for his willingness to engage in thoughtful dialogue with scholars and enthusiasts around the world.

 Russell’s sudden passing has left his wife, Carolyn, facing not only the emotional loss of her partner but also significant financial challenges. Living in Beaverton, Oregon, Carolyn now must manage their condominium’s bills, mortgage, HOA dues, and daily living expenses on her own. Russell was the primary breadwinner and caregiver, and his support was vital to Carolyn’s well-being. At the time of his passing, they were also dealing with the aftermath of cyber-fraud, adding further stress to an already difficult situation.

 Carolyn is a creative spirit who writes songs and fiction, and she was always Russell’s biggest supporter. Now, she needs help covering final expenses such as the autopsy, funeral, travel required to handle paperwork and arrangements, as well as temporary emergency living expenses while she tries to figure out how to support herself and stay in the family home without Russell's income, moving forward.
