<div>My name is Carol Hess and I've been a Certified Surgical Technologist for over 7 years. I recently accepted a spot on the <strong>Operation Restore Vision team</strong>, which is part of Operation International. Operation Restore Vision has performed free sight restorative surgeries since 2009 in some of the most impoverished areas of the world. They aim to make surgery accessible to those suffering blindness without care options.

<div>In February 2025, Operation Restore Vision will be heading to the western region of Kenya, which is called Kakamega. The objective of this mission trip is to perform 200 vision-restoring surgeries.
