<div>Carlitos is a 14-year-old boy with a heart full of courage. Since the age of just 3, when he was diagnosed with cancer, he has been fighting a battle no child should ever have to face. Even at such a young age, Carlitos showed extraordinary strength. With a smile on his face and hope in his heart, he fought bravely and, against all odds, overcame the disease.

<div>But life has continued to test this young hero. Recently, Carlitos was diagnosed with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH), a rare and serious autoimmune disease that attacks and destroys his red blood cells. This illness leaves him weak, exhausted, and vulnerable, once again forcing him into a difficult fight for his life.

<div>Despite everything he has endured, Carlitos refuses to give up. Surrounded by the love of his family and supported by a dedicated medical team, he continues to fight with the same bravery that has defined his life. Sadly, the treatment he urgently needs is extremely expensive. The total cost exceeds $130,000 US dollars, and just six months of medication alone amount to approximately $80,000. <strong>This treatment cannot wait </strong>and will place an overwhelming financial burden on his family. They simply do not have the means to cover this cost.

<div>Carlitos es un niño de 14 años con un corazón lleno de valentía. Desde los 3 años, cuando fue diagnosticado con cáncer, ha estado luchando una batalla que ningún niño debería tener que enfrentar. Recientemente, Carlitos fue diagnosticado con Hemoglobinuria Paroxística Nocturna (HPN), una enfermedad autoinmune rara y grave que ataca y destruye sus glóbulos rojos. Esta condición lo deja débil, exhausto y vulnerable, obligándolo una vez más a luchar por su vida.

<div>A pesar de todo lo que ha vivido, Carlitos se niega a rendirse. Rodeado del amor de su familia y acompañado por un equipo médico comprometido, continúa luchando con la misma valentía que ha definido su vida. Lamentablemente, el tratamiento que necesita con urgencia es extremadamente costoso. El costo total supera el millón de Quetzales, y solo seis meses de medicamento ascienden aproximadamente a 600 mil Quetzales. <strong>Este tratamiento no puede esperar </strong>y representará una carga financiera abrumadora para su familia. Simplemente no cuentan con los medios para cubrir este costo.
