Carlie Hutchinson and her husband Cameron are facing one of the most challenging times of their lives as first-time parents. On October 14, what was meant to be a routine ultrasound turned into an emergency when Carlie was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia. Their son, Carter David Hutchinson, was delivered by C-section at just 28 weeks and 6 days, weighing only 2 lbs 5 oz. Despite his early arrival, Carter is showing incredible strength in the NICU, but he has a long road ahead before he can come home.

 Carlie is known for her sweet nature and her generosity—she’s always thinking of others and is a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews. Cameron has been a steady support by her side as they navigate the challenges of being new parents. Now, as they face mounting medical bills, ongoing travel costs, and the need for medications to support both Carlie and Carter’s recovery, the hospital where Carter is receiving care is an hour and a half away from home, making frequent visits both emotionally and financially taxing for the family.
