Yesterday, the Capital Area Babe Ruth 16U All-Stars accomplished something these young athletes have dreamed about for years—they were crowned Maine State Champions! Their championship win has earned them the opportunity to represent Maine at the New England Regional Tournament in Stamford, Connecticut. The only challenge? They have just one week to raise the funds needed to get there.

This team is more than a roster of talented baseball players. Many of these boys have grown up together, playing side by side through School Ball and Babe Ruth. They’ve spent years developing not only their skills on the field but also friendships, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. They’ve celebrated victories, overcome disappointments, and learned what it means to work together toward a common goal. Now they’ve earned the chance to compete against the best teams in New England.

To make this trip possible, we’re raising funds to help cover team lodging, meals, and other travel expenses. Every dollar raised helps ensure that every player can focus on representing our community and our state—not on the financial burden of getting there. Whether you can give $10, $25, $100, or simply share this fundraiser, every act of generosity brings these young men one step closer to the field in Stamford. Thank you for believing in this team and investing in an experience these players will remember for the rest of their lives. Your support means more than you know. Let’s rally behind our Maine State Champions and help the Capital Area Babe Ruth 16U All-Stars represent Maine with pride!
